The data controller is the temporary administrator of the demok.it website, who can be contacted at privacy@demok.it.
Data collected during registration
Using the forum does not require sensitive data (e.g., religious or political affiliation, or health data). During registration, the following are collected only:
Username (pseudonym chosen by the user);
Email address (required for account verification and technical communications);
IP address (automatically collected by the system for security and moderation purposes).
- Purpose of processing
The data is processed exclusively to:
Allow access to and participation in discussions;
Prevent abuse, spam, or behavior contrary to the rules;
Ensure the technical security of the forum.
- Content Responsibility (Disclaimer)
The user is solely responsible for the content (text, images, links) posted on the forum.
Demok.it assumes no responsibility for user content. Each post expresses the author’s views exclusively. While moderation is committed to removing inappropriate content as quickly as possible, it is not possible to guarantee prior review of every message.
- Data Retention
Profile data is retained until the account is deleted. Posted messages will remain visible even after the user is deleted (to maintain consistency in discussions), but will be anonymized or removed from the link to the deleted profile, unless otherwise requested by technical standards.
- User Rights
Pursuant to the GDPR, you have the right to access your data and request its rectification, portability, or deletion. You can exercise these rights by writing to: privacy@demok.it
- Cookies
The forum uses technical cookies necessary for maintaining the session (login). Profiling cookies are not used for advertising purposes.
